I DID IT! 3.1 miles!!!

Set a goal today to see IF I could get to 3.1 miles and if so how long. Did better then I expected. Now to get to the point this doesn't hurt so much! 3.1mi in 76.24 min.


I've also signed up for the COLOR VIBE 5K on 9/14/13. So I'm really starting to train for that. A 5K is 3.1 miles. I need to be able to do this outside, and probably faster, but that's why we train, right????

More Time Needed!

Meh... ran out of time so didn't run today, inside OR outside. These last weeks of school are killing me. I have to be everywhere at all times and there is little pockets of workout time available. Unless I don't buy and put away the groceries, OR wash the clothes, sheets, towels, OR eat, OR pump milk for my son...... meh meh meh. Just having a day where what I want to do is being put aside to do the things I need to do for my family; including going to my daughters school soon to sit through the K-1st grade "play".

Don't get me wrong. I'm SOOOOOO happy to be able to GO to my daughter's play. Honest!! I had just hoped my time management would have been more successful today so that I'd be able to do BOTH.

Oh well. It's just a day. And it's not like I'm NOT being productive.

Grocery Shopping
Putting food away
Change Sheets on beds
Clean floors
Fold Clothes and put away
More shopping this afternoon
Pump Pump Pump......

And come 8:30pm tonight I'm DONE. and I know i will just pass out once my son and daughter are down for the night.

Honestly I'm really okay. Just wishing (today at least) I had more hours this morning to get it all done.
