What a year I had!

#TBT this top pic was me exactly 1 year ago, today. I was insanely proud to share that photo as I was down 82 lbs that day and was thrilled to wear that flower blouse.

I'm even more thrilled to share my photos today down 4 more sizes, and roughly another 40 lbs.

I wonder what I will look like this time NEXT year.

Having a GREAT year!

Last year I ran the Yam Scram with my daughter. My first race/run. Here I am exactly one year later (today) in the same sweats and shirt.

Keep moving forward.

Change does happen.

Imagine what you'll look like a year from now!

5/25/2014 Ten Minute Trainer - Before!

Craig is all in. We started 10 Minute Trainer (TMT) this morning. It's a 4 week program (no rest days) that we will do at least 1 - 10  minute program a day. Maybe more as we get into it. This will be my second round of TMT, and Craig's first.

I will also keep up with Turbo (modified) until I go in for this abdominal hernia surgery. I will be careful; promise!

For accountability, I am posting both of our BEFORE pics and BEFORE measurements/weight.

Skinny in my Skin!

Another progress pic post. I'm about 8 weeks into Turbo Fire [but now have to put it on hold for due to a new hernia I've managed to give myself], and I was curious if change was happening. I figured yes, but it's nice to see pics.

This before pic was actually taken about a month into Turbo. Wish I had a true before pic. Anyway, the after pic was today, and the two photos are just a bit over a month apart. I can totally see a difference.
Turbo Fire fires me up!

So I became curious if this excess skin of mine actually was coming back down on it's own.

Here's me in January, 2014:

And here's me today (5/21/14):

Skinny in my Skin!

So I can say that YES, things are getting tighter, but there is a LONG way to still go, and as much as I was hoping to shrink back all this skin on my own, it's looking very likely that I'll have to get a removal surgery after all.

Anyone have information on how I can obtain a GRANT to pay for it????

Encouraged!

I started Turbo fire and I'm really glad I did. I'm now down to a size 8 and just bought a size small dress to wear to a weekend BBQ. Feels really good! Thanks everyone for the support and encouragement. I know I complain a lot and say poor me too much. But you have all stood by me no matter what and I love you all for that!!! I don't say it enough but will now. Thank you all for being the most loving and supportive group of women I have the pleasure of knowing.
